Wireless Blasting in Underground Mines

Wireless Blasting in Underground Mines We all know that the entire Mining Industry is moving rapidly towards an automated future systems and it is constantly changing & challenging field for the upcoming future targets too be achieved with safety in the highest priority. Although, Traditional practice of using wired detonators in underground mining has a limited distance of initiation from the blasting face and draw points in sublevel cave mines, which can be replaced with precise, accurate and reliable system developed by the Orica Group. Working:- The system is similar to the signalling of nuclear submarines even while they were hundreds of metres below the ocean. This technology uses low frequency magnetic induction waves to communicate. The signals are generated by a transmitter and received by each primer prior to a blast. The primers are encoded with their group ID and delay time just prior to charging. This data is “stored” in the primer and detonator respectively.T

MINEAL ECONOMICS

ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE OF MINERALS The significance of mineral resources embraces several areas. They are an integral part of industrial development , economic progress and national  security . Mineral resources are related to significant economic activity  that converts natural mineral wealth into goods for industrial and domestic  consumption. Minerals  are important  to our health, we need small amounts of a wide variety  of minerals like calcium, phosphorus, sulphur, copper, floride, iron and zinc. coal, oil and natural  gas provide us with almost all of he energy we use to light, heat and run our world. Minerals are ingredients  in almost all  of the products we use from fertilizer, plastics, toothpaste, medicines. Minerals also play an important  role in the processing of materials. Bentonite is important  in well drilling and Barite is important  in oil drilling . Chert used to make stone tools and used as fill to provide stable base for roads. Coal used as a fuel (

Clean Coal Technology

Clean Coal Technology The term Clean coal technology means any technology deployed at a new or existing facility which will achieve significant reduction in air emissions of sulfur dioxide or oxides of nitrogen associated with the utilization of coal in the generation of electricity. Indian systems and technologies adopted are ancient times and case studies acquired that time but now the changing requirements of our nation is basically dropped from 40j/kg to 27.8j/kg over past 50 years. Nowadays Indian policies are changing to the environmental responsibilities.
